Part-Time Program Coordinator Position at TAGS! 

Teen Advocacy Going Strong (TAGS) is an East Bay nonprofit thrift store and creative workspace providing teens and young adults opportunities to learn business, entrepreneur, and artistic skills. We are searching for a part-time Program Coordinator to organize and coordinate our Job, Volunteer, Internship, and Entrepreneur programs. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, resourceful, and enjoys working in an environment that is mission-driven, community oriented and youth focused. The PC should possess strong communication, organizational and networking skills.

 Responsibilities

  • Planning & Organizing – Scheduling and managing logistics for program activities.
  • Data & Reporting – Gather team member assessments and surveys, and prepare basic reports.
  • Staff/Client Support: Oversee team members and assist with training or supervision. 

Required Skills

  • Organizational Skills: Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication to effectively interact with diverse groups. 
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve issues that arise during program implementation. 
  • Administrative Skills: Proficiency in office tasks, record-keeping, and relevant software. 
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and program participants

 Qualifications

  •  Experience as a Program Coordinator or a similar position 
  • Proficient in Google Workspace: Drive, Docs, Sheets and Calendar Experience with the following is a plus 
  • Canva 
  • Wix 
  • Nonprofits
